Key Activities - Representing the users’ voice

EEMUA collaborates with International, European and national organisations including government agencies, accreditation and certification bodies, professional institutions, trade associations, regulatory and standards committees, to bring the members’ voice into the international arena.

Examples of key activities:

• ECUI - the European Committee of User Inspectorates, conceived as a result of an EEMUA initiative, which promotes the safe use of engineering equipment throughout Europe.
• Input into the American Petroleum Institute (API), making contributions to standards on engineering equipment including liquid ring vacuum pumps and seal-less centrifugal pumps.
