EEMUA TankAssessor course brochure now available

EEMUA, the Engineering Equipment & Materials Users' Association, has issued a new brochure for its TankAssessor tank assessment training and competency scheme. The brochure is available in both printed form and as a downloadable file on the EEMUA website (www.eemua.co.uk/t_stanks.htm). EEMUA revises guidance on storage tank frangible roof joints

EEMUA, the Engineering Equipment & Materials Users' Association, has published the 2nd edition of Frangible Roof Joints for Fixed Roof Storage Tanks: Guide for Designers and Users (EEMUA Publication 180). The guide has been revised to significantly extend the advice on ensuring effective frangible roof joints. Also the guide has been updated to refer to the latest European standards. The guide is intended to assist designers and users of fixed roof storage tanks to carry out detailed evaluation on the need for a frangible roof joint, a weak roof-to-shell connection, for safety purposes. EEMUA publishes updated guidance on safely designing and constructing factory stairways

EEMUA, the Engineering Equipment & Materials Users' Association, has published the 7th edition of Factory Stairways, Ladders and Handrails (EEMUA Publication 105). The manual has been revised to take into account the latest building regulations and construction standards and includes extended guidance on safety equipment, walkways and fixed ladders. The guide is intended for use by engineers, architects and those responsible for specifying access installations, and it has also proved extremely useful for access equipment manufacturers and their subcontractors in developing new products.
