Early bird offer extended for EEMUA Conference 2019

16 November 2018

Good news! We have extended the early bird registration for our forthcoming conference in Bolton on 6-7 March, 2019. So you now have until 7 December 2018 to book your place at a reduced rate!

Last month, I wrote a blog post where I announced that registration was open for the event. I now want to update you on the exciting developments since then.

I am pleased to say the programme has been finalised and the event is shaping up to be one of our best ever conferences. We put together a conference committee comprising senior engineers from BOC, BP, Motherwell Bridge, Phillips 66 and Tata Steel. They came up with the topical conference theme of 'Leadership, Asset Integrity and Engagement: Addressing the gap in the middle'. The committee has worked hard to produce a meaningful and relevant content-driven agenda, so this really is a conference designed by industry, for industry! The mix of plenary sessions, panel discussions and interactive workshops will ensure the event is full of rich opportunities to learn from and connect with the professional engineering community.

If you attend you will benefit from:

  • The HSE outlining how industrial sites need to shape up for cyber security inspections.
  • The Ministry of Defence presenting an overview of good practice for risk-based procurement and supply chain management.
  • Tata Steel describing their asset integrity and risk management journey.
  • SABIC providing insight into guidance on the use of personal, portable self-energised electronic devices in explosive atmospheres.
  • E.ON highlighting a case study which demonstrates how they have used the Bowtie risk management method as a tool to link leadership, behaviour and knowledge management.
And there will be so much more! Please keep an eye on this blog as I will be writing regular posts to keep you updated on the programme, speaker line-up, networking opportunities and all things conference-related. In the meantime, why not take a peek at our dedicated conference microsite and see for yourself why this is an unmissable event. And don’t forget to take advantage of the early bird discount and book your place today!
