EEMUA will be at Offshore Europe 2015 next week to showcase the wide range of support we provide for end users active in Offshore Asset Management.

As the world’s oil and gas reserves become ever more depleted, companies are exploring production in remote locations and increasingly deeper waters. Against this background, EEMUA developed its guide for materials selection and corrosion control for subsea oil and gas production equipment, EEMUA Publication 194.

By popular demand, EEMUA has developed a two and half day training course based on this publication entitled: ‘Subsea Engineering - Materials selection and corrosion control for subsea oil and gas production equipment’. The training course is for those involved in the design, specification, commissioning, operation, maintenance, repair, or refurbishment of underwater oil and gas production equipment and related facilities. Interest in the course is worldwide.

EEMUA’s Technical Committees bring together on a regular basis engineers from user companies engaged in offshore exploration and production. Technical areas covered by the Committees include: electrical engineering, machinery, materials technology, piping systems, pressure vessels and pressure relieving safety systems. The Committees have produced a range of user guides and specifications reflecting current best practice amongst user companies in the offshore industry.

The areas and topics covered by these publications range from structural castings, construction, fabrication of non-primary structural steelwork, quality requirements related to duplex stainless steels, piping, and testing of valves, to process plant control desks utilising Human-Computer Interfaces, and alarm systems management. EEMUA Publications are available to purchase from our online Shop.
