EEMUA is running its subsea engineering course addressing materials selection and corrosion control on 27-29 September 2017.

Production in ever deeper waters and more remote locations continues to increase the demands made on materials of construction, along with increased intervention costs and increased difficulty in inspection and monitoring for equipment integrity.

Anyone involved in the design, specification, commissioning, operation, maintenance, repair or refurbishment of underwater oil and gas production equipment and related facilities would benefit from attending the course. The industry has witnessed some expensive materials-related equipment failures from which we all must learn.

The course is based on the EEMUA User Guide to subsea materials selection, EEMUA Publication 194, and operated in association with the Society for Underwater Technology (SUT).
