A key EEMUA activity is to collaborate with and monitor developments within the standards organisations, regulatory authorities, government departments and other national and international bodies. These are the organisations that set the framework for the safety, environmental and operating performance of industrial facilities.
As part of this work, EEMUA responds to relevant consultations from these groups. By doing this, we ensure that the collective views of our members, as an established body of equipment users, significantly influence proposed and existing standards, regulations and other legislation related to engineering equipment and materials.
