VPI Holding Ltd (VPI) has become the latest organisation to join EEMUA as a corporate member.

VPI is a UK-based power company affiliated to Vitol. It is one of the leading Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) operators in the UK with assets across five locations and provides energy to the national grid.

The company is committed to being a part of the UK’s pathway to Net Zero, complementing the increase in renewable energy. Its portfolio includes hydrogen and carbon capture projects to help lower emissions and develop a future for decarbonised, dispatchable and flexible generation. The company is part of ‘Humber Zero’, a project to decarbonise critical energy intensive industry in the Humber region of England.

Deovonne Ferreira, EEMUA’s Head of Membership, commented, “We’re delighted to welcome VPI into EEMUA. Four of the company’s sites were recently acquired from an established EEMUA member and we are pleased that local staff valued membership highly enough to recommend it to their new management. EEMUA is well placed to support VPI in its commitment to being part of the UK’s route to Net Zero – our membership is expert, is engineering focused and technology neutral, working across industry boundaries developing and sharing engineering expertise and good practice in tackling the engineering issues needed to keep industrial assets operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance. I am confident VPI involvement in EEMUA will generate mutual benefits on both sides”.
