After more than 20 years participation in EEMUA’s automation, control and electrical activities Dr Andrew Lichnowski has decided to step down from his involvement with the Association.

Andrew has played a significant part in development of EEMUA guidance, including the world renowned EEMUA 191 (Alarm systems - a guide to design, management and procurement ) and EEMUA 201 (Control rooms: a guide to their specification, design, commissioning and operation), as well as representing EEMUA in BSI GEL 65 (Measurement and control) and development of IEC 62682 (Management of alarm systems for the process industries). He has also contributed notably on EEMUA’s behalf to the highly regarded PACT (Partnership in Automation and Control Training) scheme both for the development of the scheme and as a lecturer.

There was much more too, such as being an active member and long serving Chair of the highly respected EEMUA Instrumentation and Control Committee, and EEMUA would like to take this opportunity to thank Andrew for his many years of hard work on our behalf.
