After more than 20 years representing Shell within EEMUA, Peter Kerkhof has stepped down from his roles and activities with the Association, including his position on the EEMUA Board.

A recognised specialist in storage tanks, terminals and logistics, Peter's association with EEMUA began in 2005 when he joined the Storage Tanks Committee and he remained actively involved with the Association throughout the following two decades. In 2011, he joined the EEMUA Council, serving for 15 years, and became a member of the Board in 2020.
During his involvement with EEMUA, Peter made a significant contribution to the Association's technical activities and development. He authored key guidance publications and led updates to others, delivered presentations at seminars, facilitated workshops, was involved in organising several EEMUA Conferences, taught on the EEMUA 159 Tank Assessor courses, and chaired the EEMUA Hydrogen Forum. As a member of the Competency and Training Board he played an important role in establishing a formal quality process for EEMUA's direct delivery of training courses, helping to create a foundation for a successful and enduring part of EEMUA's work.
Peter's commitment to sharing knowledge and promoting good practice across industry has made a significant contribution to EEMUA and its members.
