This course is based on the EEMUA guide to subsea materials selection, EEMUA Publication 194.

Permanent employees of EEMUA member companies are entitled to a 20% discount off the standard course fee. To confirm if you are eligible for the discount, please contact EEMUA. The learning materials, online exam and certificate are included in the (ex-VAT) prices.

Why is this course important?

As the world's oil and gas reserves become ever more depleted, companies are exploring production in more remote locations and deeper waters. The pressures, temperatures and compositions of the produced fluids and the seawater environment, place substantial demands on monitoring for equipment integrity become more difficult. The industry has witnessed some expensive materials-related equipment failures which all practitioners can learn from. Delegates will be able to learn at first-hand from the experts in leading operating companies.

Who should attend?

This course is recommended for both discipline and project-focused engineers from a variety of backgrounds who want to gain an understanding of the fundamental principles for selecting and specifying materials of construction for subsea equipment and for corrosion control during its deployment, commissioning and operation. The course is also relevant to engineers, managers and quality/integrity assurance engineers from operating companies and specialist subsea contractors. Download the course brochure here.  Induction for the next course starts in March 2024.
