State of the art technologies and artificial intelligence is used to enhance data acquisition and repeatability, and could ultimately eliminate the need for working at height and confined space entry.

Presented by Ana Gamarra, Project Engineer – Raptor UAS Ltd

After completing her MSc in Naval Architecture, Ana has worked across Europe and Asia, participating in projects such as building aircraft carriers for the Australian navy, maintenance of subsea equipment on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and fabrication of transitions pieces for the large offshore wind farm, Hornsea One.
Ana is a certified International Welding Engineer, who currently holds a wide range of qualifications including various PCN ISO 9712 certifications for NDT, FROSIO Level 3 Coating Inspector, IRATA Rope Access, EEMUA 159 TankAssessor. She also flies drones.

The adventure started in 2017, when a group of young enthusiastic engineers decided to incorporate UAV technologies into their expanding rope access company, C&D Access. The Raptor UAS team now consists of Structural, Civil, Electrical, Corrosion, NDT and Inspection Engineers together with experienced CAA qualified pilots.
