Event Details

Anything that gets moved or heated up tends to have a limited life, and rotating electrical machines are subject to both those influences.  The essentials for ensuring a long life of rotating electrical machines against those influences are covered in EEMUA Publication 227 and we have to start by getting the basics right.  But in addition, machines may be subject to electrical disturbances such as line surges and usage which may be within ratings but outside the originally envisaged envelope of use, such as frequent stops and starts rather than more continuous running.

We have to recognise that life extension is about more than just keeping machines running unchanged in an unchanged environment. How do we compensate for these effects in the maintenance regime, recognise when we have a problem and deal with it appropriately by changing the maintenance regime, repair or replace?  We attempt to answer some of those questions which are becoming ever more important against the currently prevailing trend of supply chain issues.

Free Attendance for EEMUA Members and Associates

Attendance is free of charge for delegates from EEMUA member and associate companies. For members and associates registering on the website for the first time, please note that there is an additional validation step. In this case, we recommend registering for the event only after the ‘Welcome to EEMUA’ communication has been received. This will ensure that once logged in you will have free entry to the event.

Discounted Spaces for Higher Education Staff and Students

Discounted spaces are available to delegates from higher education establishments, i.e. staff and full time students. Delegates from higher education establishments will be required to provide proof of their status accordingly, e.g. copy of student ID card, personnel ID card, etc.
