Biography: Marcel Juinen is a Cathodic Protection Specialist and ISO 15257 Level 4 certified. Since 1989, he has been affiliated with Merrem & La Porte B.V., where he began his career as a technician and measurement engineer. Through a combination of practical experience, specialization, and targeted training, he advanced to the position of Technical Manager Cathodic Protection.
With more than three decades of experience, Marcel has developed extensive expertise in both the design and implementation of cathodic protection systems. His knowledge includes remote monitoring systems, Pin brazing, CIPS, and DCVG surveys. He is known for his ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, reliable solutions for the protection of underground infrastructure.
In addition to his work at Merrem & La Porte, Marcel actively shares his knowledge within the field. He regularly provides lectures and training sessions for organizations such as Kiwa, LiteCad and habeo+, where his combination of hands‑on experience and theoretical depth is highly valued.
