Presentation title: Do we really need to care about MIC, and does a proper diagnosis give business value?

Presentation abstract/summary:

Microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) has gained a lot more attention over the last years. But it’s just one on the long list of corrosion mechanisms that can affect a systems integrity. Should we care to measure anything? And is there a business value to distinguish it from other mechanisms?

This presentation will give you an update about the recent academic developments into MIC and how to convert these academic developments into practical approaches.
