EEMUA has released EEMUA Publication 251, ‘UK Pressure Equipment - A guide to the interpretation of the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016’.
EEMUA 251 [Edition 1] has been produced to help Users, Competent Persons and Owners of pressure equipment achieve their legal requirements before pressure equipment is put into service in the UK.
The publication provides reference for the application of the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations when the option of UK Conformity Assessed (introduced following the UK’s withdrawal from the EU) is followed rather than EU Conformity Assessed. It has been authored by a panel of experienced practitioners, including a representative from the UK Enforcement Authority.

This is the fourth publication in the EEMUA UK Pressure Equipment series, joining EEMUA 237, EEMUA 245 and EEMUA 248.
